Daily Supplementation

As we know all too well, many of us follow the “average American diet”, which consists of many refined and processed foods, some of which have limited nutritional value. Many are not eating enough fresh foods that are naturally high in nutrients like vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients that help the body thrive and maintain health. Most people would benefit from supplementing their diets in order to bridge this nutritional gap.

So, what do we recommend? Here is our list of daily supplements that will help keep you healthy and well. As you probably already know, we use Standard Process supplements in the office due to their high quality and natural ingredients.

Catalyn (daily multivitamin) It is the original product, first introduced in 1929. It contains all of the vitamins and all of the trace minerals. The major minerals are potassium, sodium, calcium and phosphorus. It contains living enzymes, as these products are produced without heat.

Tuna Omega-3 Oil – yes, fish oil. Tuna Omega-3 Oil helps bridge the gap in dietary omega-3 intake and supports the body's natural inflammatory response function as it relates to periodic challenges like consumption of high-fat meal or strenuous activity. It helps support cognition, skin and hair health, emotional balance, and fetal and brain development.

Trace Minerals B-12 - combines important nutrients to support enzymatic reactions in the body. It helps support healthy cell functioning, provides iodine which is required for healthy thyroid, spleen and red blood cell functions. Among other functions, these trace minerals support ligament, cartilage, and bone structure; immune system response function, thyroid function; fat metabolism; and calcium utilization.

Cataplex D – Cataplex D supports bone health, mineral absorption, the immune system, and cellular processes. It encourages healthy calcium absorption from the intestinal tract into the blood, supports healthy immune system response function, supports and maintains healthy bone density, and provides vitamin D, which is needed by almost every cell in the body for development and transcription.

By adding these into your daily routine, you will see improvements due to increase nutrient intake. This can help with energy levels, sleep and so much more!
