To our Valued Practice Members:
As we continue to monitor the latest developments associated with the Novel Coronavirus Covid-19, we have implemented some small changes in an effort to limit contact when in the office. Please note the following changes:
• We kindly ask that you wash your hands when coming into the office. • We have removed our sign in system and pens. Shelley will gladly sign you in. If you need a pen, please do not hesitate to ask for one. • WE STILL HAVE FRUIT! It’s just hiding behind the desk! Again, Shelley will be more than glad to help you! • It is once again time for our Almond Guessing Contest! This is a favorite in the office and we didn’t want to cancel it! Guess the almonds in the jar, and you guessed it, Shelley will fill out your ballot! • As stated in our previous email, we have removed the kids toys in the play area. We have coloring sheets so please do not hesitate to ask us for those! • We also have medical grade disinfectant that we have begun utilizing this week and we are wiping down all high traffic areas multiple times per day.
Knowing how structural correction can boost your immune system, during this time we welcome you to come into the office to get adjusted. If you are experiencing any respiratory distress, or fever, please call the office ahead of time so that we can schedule you at a time when there are no other patients in the office and we can properly disinfect afterwards.
The other side of the equation is providing your body with what it needs functionally and nutritionally. Here are some tips to keep your immune system functioning at its best:
• Make sure you are getting adequate sleep • Stay away from processed sugars • Drink plenty of water • Wash your hands frequently • Cover your cough • Supplement your nutrition. There are many supplements out there that can boost immune function. If you would like more information on this, please send us an email at [email protected] or talk to us at your next appointment
